Evga gtx 460 2 win

Anonim

On March 11 EVGA presented a new graphics card: GTX460 2Win. It is a dual solution with 2 Gf 104 chips, so in practice we find an internal SLI of two Gtx 460. This in theory should offer us good temperatures and consumption, and it should not go wrong in the field of overclock. The graphics will run at 700mhz, it will have 672 Cuda Cores and 2GB of 512 bit GDDR5 memory.

It is a model created from 0 by EVGA, since this model does not exist as such from Nvidia itself. This is great news since lately EVGA was not taking risks with custom models and we believe that it has enough potential to dare with this type of graphics cards, whether they are models created from scratch or modifying existing Nvidia graphics cards.

We have found it curious that the pcb is white. Be that as it may, the card (both the heatsink and the pcb) looks fantastic. In his presentation he offered data in synthetic tests against a GTX 580:

The only but that we find the GTX 460 2Win is its price, which was around 410 euros. We find it somewhat high compared to the price for which you can get a 2 Gtx 460 SLI separately and from other graphic solutions, but these graphics also have their audience and exclusivity, whether we like it or not, it also pays. It has not yet reached Europe, but it is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
