EVGA SC15 is the younger brother of the EVGA SC17, the first high-performance gaming laptop from the Californian brand that was recently updated.

EVGA SC15 with 120Hz display and G-SYNC technology

EVGA SC15 has a 15.6-inch screen, unlike the 17.3 of the SC17 model. This screen is Full-HD, has an image refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with Nvidia's G-SYNC technology, which avoids desynchronization and cuts in images, especially in video games.

Inside it has an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor next to the Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card. As for storage, it would come with a 256GB SSD along with a 1TB mechanical hard drive. Backlit keyboard, WiFi 802.11ac, HDMI, miniDisplayport or USB-C complement its features. They did not want to give details on the amount of memory, but knowing that the SC17 came with 32GB DDR4, we assume that the amount would be the same, it is also the first EVGA laptop that will make the jump to 'Kaby Lake', the SC17 owns the i7 6820HK.

EVGA bets on an Intel Core i7-7700HQ 'Kaby Lake'

At the moment it is unknown at what price it will be marketed and when it will do so. To enter the comparison, the SC17 already costs in the EVGA store about 2799 dollars with a GTX 1070 inside, we will see at what price the SC15 will come out. We will be attentive to the information that comes out.
