EVGA expands its catalog of motherboards with the new EVGA Z170 Classified K for socket 1151 and designed especially for gaming users and more foodies. The best thing about this news is that it will have a more moderate price than the normal EVGA Z170 Classified and it incorporates two Gigabit network cards.

EVGA Z170 Classified K

The EVGA Z170 Classified K is a high-end ATX motherboard (30.4 x 24.3 cm) for the LGA 1151 socket and features the best Z170 chipset. It has a very robust 8-phase power supply cooled by a completely passive large heatsinks. Among its novelties we find an improved socket with low inductance and that improves power delivery. The board has four DDR4 DIMM slots that allow a maximum of 64 GB DDR4 with a speed of 3666 MHz by overclocking it. It also incorporates XMP technology to load profiles pre-established by memory manufacturers.

It has four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots that allow us to install a layout of two SLI graphics cards + a card for PhysX (nowadays it doesn't make sense) and two PCI Express x1 connections. While due to the storage possibilities, it has 8 shared SATA connections with a SATA Express and a 32 GB / s M.2 connector that has a small red LED strip. The sound card is 8 channels and is signed by the classic Realtek ALC1150 assembler with optical output.

Another of its novelties is the incorporation of a Killer E2400 network card and a second Intel i219 Gigabit. As we are used to, EVGA maintains its start and restart buttons on the motherboard and a Dual BIOS that will come in handy in case of corruption of one of them. Its UEFI BIOS remains exactly the same with a great interface and full of options.

Finally highlight its rear connections with six USB 3.0 connections, two USB 3.1 Type-A connections, two gigabit network cards, a button to clear the BIOS (Clear CMOS), a Displayport output, an HDMI 1.4 and the audio outputs.

Since the distribution in Spain is not completely smooth with EVGA, it is no longer usual to find motherboards of this brand in the user settings in the best forums in the country. Its indicative price will rise to 330 euros, almost 150 euros cheaper than the normal version, this will allow some users to venture to buy it directly on Amazon (if it arrives) or on its official website. We hope that its availability will arrive from this week on the brand's official Europe website.
