exklim today unveiled the eX Core, the world's first portable eGPU that turns any laptop or desktop into a 'powerful' gaming 'team.

eX Core aims to offer gamers, Bitcoin miners, students and professionals a lightweight, high-performance solution to run any application at any time. This device is currently on Kickstarter , where it has quickly secured the financing it needed to launch it on the market.
As games and applications become graphically more demanding, most laptops are underpowered to run demanding games. The eX core solves this problem by opening the door for any computer to have the same high-end graphics or design capabilities as more advanced computers, at a fraction of the cost.
eX Core uses NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1050 Factory OC, which operates at a frequency of 1680 MHz and is equipped with high-bandwidth 4GB GDDR5 memory to run the most demanding PC games and video applications on the market.
The device can be very useful for improving the performance of any laptop for a fraction of what it would cost to buy a new one, since it is not possible to update the components in a laptop.
The device connection is made through the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and is provided with a 90W adapter to charge the battery. Its price would be $ 400 and is expected to be available in May to users who have participated in the Kickstarter.
