Facebook will collaborate with ray
Table of contents:
Many companies have their own augmented reality glasses on the market. Facebook could be the next to join this list, at least if we listen to the rumors about it. The American company would be working with Ray-Ban, the well-known brand of glasses, on a model with augmented reality. Ray-Ban has a matrix called Luxottica for this type of technology.
Facebook will collaborate with Ray-Ban on augmented reality glasses
It seems that the social network is collaborating on two projects with Ray-Ban in this regard. Some glasses with augmented reality and the others would be smart glasses.
Bet on the glasses
On the one hand, Facebook would work with Ray-Ban to create smart glasses, intended to record the environment. These glasses would also come with a voice assistant, which the social network has been developing for some time. The company would also improve the experience by using an app for phones, where it would be possible to manage everything related to these glasses.
The other project they have underway with Ray-Ban is the aforementioned augmented reality glasses. The firm has been developing these glasses for approximately two years. It is mentioned that they are currently collaborating with Luxottica, the parent of Ray-Ban, to finalize these glasses.
At the moment it is unknown when these Facebook glasses would be launched on the market. The company has not even confirmed their existence, so we will have to wait until more is known about it. But it is possible that in 2020 they will finally be a reality and end up being launched on the market. We hope to have more details shortly.
