This change is being tested and will be released in the next update of the Facebook app on Android, so it is expected to arrive shortly. This is a major change. Because we see how the classic blue color of the social network leaves, leaving the white color to have the most presence. This would facilitate the use of a dark mode in the app. So we may have that role in the future as well.

We don't know anything about a release date at the moment. Although everything is already very advanced, so it should be a matter of weeks before this new design is going to be introduced in the app.
