Intel wants to expand its business with new opportunities, proof of this is the announcement of the Falcon8 +, its first commercial drone that will provide a new, highly advanced work tool to the commercial sector.

Falcon8 +: Intel drone features

The new Intel Falcon8 + drone is focused on a very specific sector of the industry, specifically topography and mapping as demonstrated by its excellent specifications. The Falcon 8+ is capable of flying for a time of 26 minutes and at a top speed of 50 km / h, so it is capable of covering a fairly long distance.

The characteristics of the Falcon 8+ continue with a highly advanced AscTec Trinity autopilot system that has three commercially available measuring units that compensate for external influences such as strong winds or electromagnetic fields. Its control is carried out by the complete Intel Cockpit controller that includes hardware from Intel itself along with a pair of joysticks and water resistance so you can use it in all conditions.

The Falcon 8+ is not yet for sale nor is it expected to be in the short term as they have yet to obtain permission from Federal Communications (FC) to be marketed and used.
