So far few details are known, but we know that Intel's new i9 series of processors will arrive soon. The Skylake-X and Kabylake-X systems are expected to debut next month. As far as is known, Intel plans to release six models in total.

Leaked the specifications of the new Intel Core-X i9 and i7

There are six models that are framed on the HEDT platform, and two of them will be based on Kabylake-X and the other four on Skylake-X. Its launch is expected in the middle of next June, just after the PC Gaming Show, which is sponsored by Intel in this edition.

What do we know about these processors?

It should be noted that the i9-7900 series will support up to 44 PCie lines. The i9-7800 will be able to support 28 PCie lines and the i9-7700 / 7600 a total of 16 PCie lines. That is the information that we can know given the leaks, although it is not known with complete certainty that this will be the case.

Three of the i9-7900 series models are also expected to have a third frequency mode called Turbo Max Boost. Thanks to which the Core-X processor is allowed to achieve a higher speed. Another detail to take into account according to the leaks is the second level cache (L3). In this case it will be from 16 MB to 6 MB for the most basic model.

We can only wait until June to check if all these data are true. In the case of the i9-7920 X we will have to wait a little longer, until August in principle. Therefore, by the end of the summer we can already know the new series of Intel processors. What do you think of the leaks so far? Do they give you a good idea about these processors?
