5 million google accounts and passwords leaked

Anonim

A hack has occurred to Google accounts and has appeared on the network, specifically in the forums of a portal dedicated to bitcoin, a database of 5 million Google accounts along with their respective passwords.

Hacked accounts have appeared in the Russian Bitcoin security forum BTCsec.com in the form of a database that weighs 28.7 megabytes and is available for download without passwords. They also ensure that the original with the keys contains at least 60% of valid accounts that would allow access without problems. The list contains accounts from various countries, mainly English, Spanish and Russian accounts.

From here you can access the database with filtered accounts

In addition to the previous list, by accessing isleaked, you can find out if your Gmail account has been hacked, and if so, indicate the first 2 letters of the password.

It should be noted that a Google spokesperson has assured that most are forgotten email addresses that may have been canceled or that they already have a new security key.

Google has clarified that this collection of accounts is a work of many years carried out with pishing methods, so it would not be strictly correct to speak of a hacking of the mail service of the internet giant.
