G.Skill, specialist in manufacturing of high-end PC peripherals and memories, has announced the launch of a new SODIMM DDR4 memory kit with a capacity of 64 GB and the highest speed in this format.
G.Skill SODIMM DDR4 64GB breaks speed record
These new 64GB G.Skill SODIMM DDR4 memories arrive in a four-channel kit that consists of four modules of 16GB each. Thanks to the use of the best Samsung B-die chips, it is possible to reach speeds of 3466 MHz with a latency of CL17-17-17-37 using a voltage of only 1.35V. This allows to take to a new level the benefits of the most compact equipment in which these advanced memories are used together with the powerful Intel Skylake-X processors.
New G.Skill Trident Z memories for Intel Coffee Lake
Thanks to its quad chanel configuration and its high frequency, it allows to achieve a reading bandwidth of 95231 MB / s, a writing of 94856 MB / s and a copy speed of 90639 MB / s under the AIDA64 benchmark. Compatibility with XMP 2.0 profiles makes them extremely easy to configure so that all users can get the most out of it in the easiest way.
They will go on sale throughout the first quarter of 2018, no details have been given on the official sale price.
