Ga-imb1900n / tn are mini motherboards

Gigabyte catches us off guard with the launch of two new mini-ITX motherboards with a Celeron J1900 processor already included. We are talking about the GA-IMB1900N and GA-IMB1900TN models.

GA-IMB1900N and GA-IMB1900TN have a 4-core Celeron J1900

On both motherboards we can notice that the processor is cooled by a passive heatsink. This processor is a 4-core Celeron J1900 running at a speed of 2.4 GHz based on the Baytrail architecture.

The motherboard has an Intel gen 7 graphics that offers an output through an HDMI port and another D-Sub. Being a fairly basic graphics, it only supports 1920 × 1080 screens, there is no 4K support.

The maximum amount of memory that we can add is 16GB. The supported modules are the 1066/1333 MHz DDR3L DIMMs.

As for connectivity and other functions, it includes the ALC887 audio codec for sound in 5.1 and the Intel i211AT GbE chip that is responsible for connecting to the Internet via LAN and the storage consists of 2 SATA 3Gbp / s connectors and a M connector.2 to add an NVMe SSD. This component is key on both motherboards, since they would not be supporting SATA 3.0, which would affect the performance of SSD drives that use SATA connection. We have 4 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0 ports and lastly, a mini-PCIe port.
