A few hours ago the first render of the new PCB was leaked to GTX 1070 signed by GALAX (In Europe known as KFA2). Do you think it will have a lot of difference with that of the GTX 1080 or will we be seeing a customized model (Custom) ?

GALAX GTX 1070: First images in render

As we can see in this image, the blue character is the high-end graphics card GTX 1080, while red will be the representative of this GTX 1070. So Yellow and lighter blue? Everything indicates that they are the characters of the GTX 1060 and GTX 1050 for the gamer entry line.

The box is no mystery just stating that it will carry GDDR5 memory, VR support, and DirectX 12 support (nothing new).

Taking a look at the render the graphics card has a reference PCB and that unlike its older sister the GTX 1080 will have GDDR5 memory instead of the new GDDR5X.

Anyway, we are going to remind you of all the technical characteristics of the new GTX 1070: the main chiup will be a Pascal GP104 with a total of 1920 CUDA CORES cores, 120 TMUs and supposedly the same 64 ROPs (Still unconfirmed). Its core will operate at a maximum of 1.6 GHz and offers a theoretical maximum power of 6.75 TFLOPs. It will have the GDDR5 standard with a total of 8 GB of memory and a 256- bit interface and a bandwidth of 256 GB / s. All this with a reduced TDP of 150W and a single 8-pin PCI Express connector.
