From Taiwan , we continue with the coverage of Computex 2019. We will review another of the GALAX / KFA2 memories, but this time with a PCI-E 4X interface. The SSD will be the flagship of the brand in terms of performance and will be under its well-known name GALAX / KFA2 HOF (Hall Of Fame).

Along with the GALAX / KFA2 GAMER, the Chinese company has shown us its superior line of components, in this case, the SSD memories . Hall Of Fame is the name given to the top pieces of GALAX / KFA2 and they all present this whitish and elegant aesthetic.

Unlike M.2 memories , this SSD expands across a large board by connecting to the motherboard directly via the PCI-Express 4X port. This configuration offers us a greater surface to dissipate the heat, but in return you need one of the rear slots of the box, among other things.

As we can clearly see, this piece is much larger than M.2 devices , but in turn offers us better read and write speeds. When we talk about M.2 SSD we are referring to the GALAX / KFA2 GAMER, but the brand will also release SSD HOF memories in M.2 format .

This specific memory will go on the market with three different capacities, which will be 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB. The speed of writing and reading will be equivalent at all levels and the brand states that they will be 3400 MB / s and 3000 MB / s, respectively.

GALAX / KFA2 has mounted a passive dissipation system with two aluminum plates both in front and behind the plate. We have our doubts about whether we should worry about the temperature since it has enough RGB lighting in the body, but they are only guesses. And related to this, we can use the AURORA Sync software to control the intensity, type and color of our internal components.

We find interesting the approach that GALAX / KFA2 has decided to make with respect to components as little exploited as SSD memories. Currently, the market highlights known names such as Samsung, Western Digitals and others, which have more sober designs.

These devices have good performance, good design and the most famous feature of recent years: RGB lighting. With these ingenious attractions, the Chinese company plans to introduce gamers towers around the world.

Both in its GAMER version and in its HOF version, we can see a desire to compete against the largest and offer good technology in different power ranges. Everything will depend on the value of the components and their final quality.
