Table of contents:
We know that the Galaxy S8 + will come with a Snapdragon 835, but we have now seen it on Geekbench under the model number SM-G955U. Among the features, we have known and confirmed that it will come with 4 GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat. It is clear that we are dealing with a variant of the Galaxy S8 that is not bad at all, and whose existence has now been confirmed again through the big door in terms of performance.
And what about the score? The data is similar to that already seen in Snapdragon 835, so we could affirm that the devices that come with this chip will all give an outstanding score. And it should be noted that the multi-core performance is impressive.
Galaxy S8 + with Snapdragon 835 leaks on Geekbench
In the following images you can see the figures that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has managed to obtain. We have 6084 points for multi-core. It is a good number because it is the second, behind the Huawei Mate 9 as you can see for yourself in the following image:
Geekbench 4 (multi-core):
Geekbench 4 (single-core):
On the other hand, if we focus on single-core we see that Apple is triumphant. The Galaxy S8 Plus falls far behind the A10 chip, against which little can be done. You can see these other data also reflected in the following photograph, in which we also see it in second place with 1929 points but almost half that of the iPhone 7, something that could worry many users.
Benchmark tests that have impressed us, so if you want to know more about the new Galaxy S8 + with Snapdragon 835, don't miss this we just told you about. However, in multi-core it is impressive.
When will the new S8 be released? We know that the Galaxy S8 will be released later this month, by approximately March 29. Don't worry because we will keep you up to date with all the news.
