Geforce 397.55 hotfix fixes issues with the geforce gtx 1060

Nvidia has announced the release of the new GeForce 397.55 HotFix drivers , to fix the installation error that had appeared in the previous version with the GeForce GTX 1060. This problem prevented the driver from installing correctly, something that has finally been fixed.

Shortly after the release of the Nvidia Geforce 373.31 driver, several posts emerged on the company's official forums, to warn users of problems with installing this driver with the GeForce GTX 1060, this is a bug that prevents the driver installed correctly, a serious problem that forced users of this popular graphics card to return to the previous version of drivers. Some users also pointed to problems with the GeForce GTX 1050, although much less serious.

Finally, Nvidia has fixed the issue with the release of new GeForce 397.55 HotFix drivers, which fix report code 43 for certain GeForce GTX 1060 models, along with fixes for Netflix replay issues, driver removal issues on builds specific in Windows 10 and compatibility with Microsoft Surface Book computers.

It is not the first time that we see a serious problem in a new version of Nvidia or AMD drivers, both companies are rushing to launch new versions with each new game that comes to market, which means that many times they have to work in a hurry, and there are major mistakes. Fortunately, all of them are usually resolved in a few hours or a few days.
