Geforce 442.50, new drivers for apex and the division 2

Nvidia today released its WHQL certified Game Ready 442.50 drivers, introducing optimizations for the fourth season of Apex Legends, ARK's Genesis Part 1 expansion, as well as Tom Clancy's Warlords of New York expansion for T he Division 2. It is also offering a security update for owners of Nvidia graphics cards.

Nvidia GeForce 442.50 Drivers Now Available

Apex Legends released its fourth season titled "Assimilation" earlier this month, so this release may alleviate some current issues with this game. The expansion for the first part of ARK's Genesis, however, was released just two days ago, and The Division 2 will see its Warlords of New York expansion released on March 3.

Among all this, the new controller also brings with it Variable Rate Super-Sampling (VRSS) profiles for these VR titles:

There are security updates included in these drivers as well, with more details present in the Nvidia Security Bulletin 4996. At the time of this writing, however, the link provided by Nvidia leads to 404.

Problems fixed with these drivers:

• : The game may crash with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG 0x887A0006.: Game may randomly send us to desktop An intermittent flickering effect occurs when HDR is on.: Running Battleye with NVIDIA low latency mode set to Ultra may cause drivers to reboot.: The application shows errors when the global image sharpening function is activated from the NVIDIA Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed creashea Control Panel when playing in a water level.: The game may flicker when HDR is activated in-game.: Random crashes occur during gameplay on Pascal and older GPUs.
