Just one day after the official announcement of the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, the first synthetic benchmarks that leave the new Nvidia GPU in a pretty good position have been leaked, being slightly superior to the AMD Radeon RX 480.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 slightly faster than AMD Radeon RX 480

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 has been passed through 3DMark Fire Strike and 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra to give scores of 11, 225 points and 3, 014 points respectively. With these figures, the new Nvidia card shows 8-10% faster than the AMD Radeon RX 480 in its stock speed. Nvidia had promised that the card would be 15% faster than AMD's solution, something that seems that it will not be fulfilled although it will be best to wait for the first results in real games.

The second part of the equation is going to be the price, it is rumored that the GeForce GTX 1060 will have a recommended price by Nvidia of $ 250, suppose that in its version with 3 GB of memory, an amount that seems very fair and that is lower at 4 GB presented by the Radeon RX 480 in its cheapest version. At its arrival in the Spanish market it could stay at an approximate price of 300 euros, which would put it at a disadvantage compared to the Radeon RX 480 whose price in Spain is approximately 220 euros.

In summary we can say that Nvidia has achieved a slightly more competitive solution in performance and now it is in your hands to put on the market a card with a very aggressive price that makes AMD have to cut the price of its Radeon RX 480 and start a nice price war that always favors users.
