GeForce MX350 and MX330 will come with significant performance improvements
According to the latest drivers, the GeForce MX350 and MX330 will remain true to their origins and continue to build on the same Pascal microarchitecture as their predecessors. However, it is said that the GeForce MX350 and MX330 will not be mere reissues this time around. Apparently, Nvidia is finally giving its MX series a long-awaited update.
The combination of an Intel processor with an Nvidia MX series graphics card is a very popular combination among notebook manufacturers who claim to offer a viable graphics solution that is slightly better than integrated graphics. So when AMD announced its Ryzen 4000 series APUs, it's not hard to see why Nvidia might be a little concerned.

The current GeForce MX250 uses the GP108 chip and has up to 384 CUDA cores. The new GeForce MX350 is rumored to use the GP107 chip to get about 640 CUDA cores. The 66.7% increase in CUDA cores should help the GeForce MX350 achieve similar performance to a GTX 1050 Mobile.

On the other hand, the GeForce MX330 could still rely on the same GP108 chip found within the GeForce MX230. However, the GeForce MX330 should receive an update of its own. The current MX230 only has 256 CUDA cores, while the MX330 could come with 384 CUDA cores, a 50% increase.
The GP107 and GP108 matrices are manufactured at Samsung using the company's 14nm FinFET process. There are no details on memory configuration, but given that Nvidia has been using the same recipe for two generations in a row, it is possible that the MX300 series will end up with the same 2 GB of GDDR5 memory in the well-known 64-bit memory interface.. The jump from the MX100 series to the MX200 saw an increase in memory and operating clock speeds, and we could see the same in the MX 300 series as well.
An announcement of both GPUs is expected in February. We will keep you informed.
