Nvidia has just announced the arrival of its GeForce Now streaming video game service to PC and macOS platforms, in a very interesting move but also 'wasted' under what opinions.

GeForce Now will charge for minutes played

The GeForce Now service will allow you to play all the video games from our Steam catalog or our Battle, net account by means of retransmission to any computer or laptop on which we have this service active. No need to install any video game, the title is played on GeForce Now servers and relayed to our screens in real time.

GeForce Now: Games at 1080p and 60FPS

GeForce Now is going to have two quality profiles, one for playing with a GTX 1080 and the other for playing with a GTX 1060 from Nvidia's servers. The funny thing is that it will be charged per minute played, if we want to play with the GTX 1080 it will charge 4 credits per minute, with the GTX 1060 it will charge 2 credits per minute. In GeForce Now, 2, 500 credits cost $ 25, so if we wanted to play with a GTX 1060, that would give us 20 hours of play. Nvidia promises to play at maximum 1080p quality and 60 frames per second.

The service will allow us to use our Battle.net, Steam, Origin, Uplay and GOG accounts.

At the moment the service is in beta and will be available in March for the United States, reaching the general public in spring.
