Genius introduces the media pointer 1000

Genius is pleased to announce the Media Pointer 1000. This multimedia pointer with red laser beam for precise pointing combines the functions necessary to give a presentation and control the media from a distance. These two functions are accompanied by an additional function to control time, thus ensuring that you take advantage of every available second of your presentation.

When you use the time measurement function, the Media Pointer 1000 vibrates 30 seconds and 5 seconds before the selected alarm time, giving you enough time to finish what you are doing smoothly and promptly. The remaining time can be controlled through the LCD screen and the alarm is configured like any digital alarm clock.

This multimedia pointer has two modes of presentation: presentation and media management. The presentation mode can be activated on the left side, where it can also be turned off. As already mentioned, the selected mode changes the functionality of the buttons accordingly.

Presentation mode can be used when you use PowerPoint for your presentation. In this mode, you can change and close slides. The buttons in this mode include: next page, previous page, F5 / ESC, and blank page. The media mode is used to control the playback of sounds and videos. Videos can be stopped, advanced and volume can be adjusted. The buttons in media mode include: volume up, volume down, play / stop, fast forward and rewind.

The Media Pointer 1000 is 2.4GHz wireless with a remote control up to 10 meters away. The red laser beam helps indicate precisely in PowerPoint or on a graph without the need to stand next to it.

The Media Pointer 1000 can be connected to your desktop PC or your laptop. The connection is made through a micro USB receiver that can be stored together with both AAA batteries inside the pointer.
