Gigabyte announces the winners of the 'hidden gems' contest
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., the world leader in the manufacture of motherboards and graphics cards, announces the winners of the 'Hidden gems' contest. In celebration of our history, 26 years at the heart of the custom PC industry, GIGABYTE invited all of its Facebook fans to share videos and photos of their old PCs mounted with our boards. The older the better!
“The Hidden Gems contest has been revealed as an ideal showcase for showing the philosophy behind GIGABYTE's Ultra Durable technology. 74% of the proposals included plates older than 5 years, almost 25% had plates older than 10 years and 8% were from the 1990s, ”said Tim Handley, deputy director of GIGABYTE's motherboard marketing department. "It should be noted that the oldest motherboard submitted to the contest dated from 1991. And it still works after 20 years!"
