GIGABYTE A88X motherboards incorporate a host of new features and technologies. They also include the first G1-Killer motherboard to play on AMD, the G1.Sniper A88X, featuring GIGABYTE AMP-Up Audio, a suite of advanced audio technologies designed to give audio enthusiasts and PC gamers more control over the audio from their motherboards. GIGABYTE A88X series motherboards also offer other unique features such as UEFI DualBIOS ™, Digital Power, as well as triple display support.

Kaveri ready in AMD FM2 + sockets

GIGABYTE A88X series motherboards incorporate AMD's new FM2 + socket, and are designed to take full advantage of AMD's upcoming Kaveri APUs, while maintaining compatibility with their current FM2 APUs. AMD's FM2 + APUs offer native support for PCI Express gen 3.0 to 8 GT / s as well as DX11.1 and integrate the high-performance core 'Steamroller'. AMD's FM2 + APUs also offer native support for 4K resolution displays on HDMI and DisplayPort.
