Gigabyte announces its geforce gtx 980 waterforce tri system
Gigabyte has announced its new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce Tri-SLI system consisting of a total of three GTX 980 graphics cards and a liquid cooling module that is responsible for cooling them properly.
The new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce Tri-SLI system consists on three GeForce GTX 980 graphics cards equipped with the Nvidia GM 204 GPU with second-generation Maxwell architecture and a module that handles its cooling. Each of the cards runs at a frequency of 1228/1329 MHz in base and turbo mode respectively and is attached to 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM at a frequency of 7, 000 MHz with a 256-bit interface.
On the other hand, the cooling module occupies a 5.25-inch bay and is made up of one fan each. The speed of the fans can be regulated from the front of the cooling module itself.
