Gigabyte, asus and xfx show their radeon rx 470 custom

Everything indicates that the Radeon RX 470 is going to suffer a much more dynamic launch than its older sister the Radeon RX 480. The younger of the Polaris sisters is already seeing how its main custom versions are shown, unlike the Radeon RX 480 that we had to Wait a lot and today they have practically not yet reached the stores more than a month after the launch of the card.

Gigabyte, Asus and XFX have rushed to show their vitaminized versions of the Radeon RX 470 to avoid users losing their patience and end up buying the reference version or opting for a solution from Nvidia

Gigabyte RX 470 G1 Gaming OC 4GB

First off we see the Gigabyte RX 470 G1 Gaming OC 4GB that makes use of the acclaimed WindForce 2X heatsink alongside a higher quality custom PCB. This heatsink is made up of a dense aluminum fin radiator that is crossed by a total of three copper heatpipes with direct contact technology to the GPU for a greater transfer of the heat generated from the GPU to the aluminum radiator for its dissipation.

All this seasoned by two 90mm fans with a patented design that promises to move 23% more air with a lower noise than its rivals. The PCB is covered at its rear by an aluminum backplate.

ASUS RX 470 STRIX 4GB

We continue with the ASUS RX 470 STRIX 4GB which is based on its well-known DirectCU II heatsink with an aluminum radiator and two copper heatpipes with direct contact with the GPU for a greater transfer of the heat generated from the GPU to the aluminum radiator for its dissipation, in this case we find two Wing-Blade fans that are responsible for generating the necessary air flow.

Its PCB is manufactured with Super Alloy Power II components for high quality and durability with a 5 + 1 phase VRM power supply to bring the core to a frequency of 1, 270 MHz. Its features are completed by the Aura lighting system, a backplate and a 6-pin power connector.

XFX RX 470 4GB Black Edition

We continue with an exclusive AMD assembler such as XFX with its custom model in which we mainly highlight the possibility of removing the two fans for cleaning without the need for tools. Its heatsink includes at least one visible copper heatpipe to improve cooling compared to the reference card. We also see a backplate that covers your custom PCB with a six-pin power connector.
