We have been a week full of problems with GTX970 graphics cards and NVIDIA's lack of clarity about managing 4GB of VRAM and misleading advertising of its active ROPs. Really the problem is that the first 3.5 GB and the last 512 mb cannot be accessed at the same time…

Meanwhile it seems that Gigabyte has hit the key and has released three new BIOSes to update to the Gigabyte GTX 970 Gaming G1 WindForce OC (F3, F42 and F51) depending on whether the memory used is Hynix or Samsung and one for the Gigabyte GTX 970 WindForce 3X OC (F51) that manages to improve RAM memory and brings a bonus to other graphics cards.
