GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced a new overclocking competition, the most rewarding yet, alongside the GIGABYTE Z97 with the X99 BIG XTU Challenge, offering the overclocker community the opportunity to tune your systems for a single test, the Intel XTU. With the participation and presentation of results, trying to reach and hit a secret score, the participating overclokers accumulate points in the race to get, not only cash and hardware prizes, but also being able to travel to Taipei, Taiwan, to attend the Computex 2015 fair together with GIGABYTE. The skills can be performed on the Z97 and X99 platforms in order to present the maximum results, within the limit framework. Much is at stake; a total of USD $ 4000 in cash, 4 GIGABYTE motherboards and a great EPIC PRIZE!

Are you ready for the challenge? Each of the 4 rounds will have 10 secret target scores, which will only be revealed at the end of the submission period. How to take part

- You have a period of 3 days to present the results, within a target range.

- You can present as many results as you want within that range.

- The objective score to be achieved will be kept secret until after the presentation period.

- Participants who reach the secret score accumulate one point.

How to win

- $ 1, 000: The participant with the most points at the end of each of the 4 rounds will win the cash prize! If there is a tie, the winner will be decided by seeing the time of presentation of the result, who presented it first.

- GIGABYTE X99-SOC Champion Motherboard: The lucky winner will be decided by lottery for each round.

- GRAND PRIZE, trip to Computex 2015: To win the grand prize, participants must achieve the highest number of points across the 4 rounds. The trip includes flight to and from Taipei, 5 hotel nights and a complete calendar for all Computex 2015 from June 1 to June 6, 2015. (Final details to be agreed with the winner)

Rules

- Round 1: Limited to Gigabyte motherboards with Z97 chipset and dual-core processors

- Round 2: Limited to Gigabyte motherboards with Z97 chipset and quad-core processors

- Round 3: Limited to Gigabyte motherboards with X99 chipset and six-core processors

- Round 4: Limited to Gigabyte motherboards with X99 chipset and eight-core processors

- The stages will open on the indicated day at 0:01 UTC +8 and will close on the indicated day at 23:59 UTC +8

- Users can upload an unlimited number of results within the duration of each stage, as long as they are within the indicated range and it is not the same score raised in a previous result by the same user.

- Only air or water cooling is allowed. Dry Ice or Liquid Nitrogen is not allowed. The processor temperature should always be above 25 degrees Celsius.

- All the results must include a screenshot with the regulatory wallpaper, two CPU-Z windows (CPU and Motherboard) and XTU window where the achieved result and the maximum frequency are displayed. A photo of the equipment used when executing the benchmark must also be attached. HWBOT verification and upload rules apply.

- The winners of the cash prize or the trip to Computex 2015, are not chosen by lottery.

- A participant is only entitled to win once. If this is the case, the award will go to the second place.

- Elite League users will not be able to participate. Users who work for a component manufacturing company, distributor or PC component store, will not be able to receive prizes, although they can participate for fun.
