After offering you our own review of the Radeon RX 460 we return with more performance tests to another card based on the same architecture, in this case it is the Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 WindForce 2X that has been through an extensive test bench of Pure PC.

Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 WindForce 2X shows its performance

The Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 WindForce 2X is based on a Polaris 11 “Baffin” graphics core consisting of a total of 896 Stream Processors, 48 TMUs and 16 ROPs that operate at a maximum frequency higher than 1200 MHz and that are accompanied by 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at a speed of 7000 MHz along with a 128-bit interface and a bandwidth of 112 GB / s. All with a 75W TDP and a single 6-pin power connector.

Tests show that the Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 WindForce 2X offers an average performance very similar to the GeForce GTX 750Ti, in the most favorable games it is even close to the GeForce GTX 950 but in the most unfavorable situations it is below the GTX 750 Ti. No surprise when facing a card destined for the entry range and for less demanding users.

As for consumption, we also do not see any surprises with figures very similar to the GeForce GTX 750Ti, something that can be a bit disappointing when we consider that we are talking about a card with two years behind it and made in 28 nm, but the excellent work done by Nvidia on Maxwell's energy efficiency at 28nm.
