Gigabyte already sells the aorus rgb ddr4
Table of contents:
Gigabyte has announced the launch of its new Aorus RGB DDR4-3200 memory kit, this time without the two fake modules that were previously offered, and which only made the product more expensive.
Aorus RGB DDR4-3200 now without dummy modules
In the DDR4 Dual Channel Gamer Kit segment, Gigabyte initially released a 16Gb DDR4-3200 AGB RGB memory solution that included a pair of fake modules. The idea was to propose a set of four modules that occupy all the memory slots to obtain more intense RGB effects. The presence of these fake modules had an impact on the price. To reduce cost, Gigabyte now presents a classic version with no fake modules.

This kit consists of two DDR4 modules of 8 GB each, which benefit from a heat sink made of aluminum with a thickness of 2 mm, which is inserted in the PCB, and a light diffuser is included. Under the diffuser are five addressable RGB LEDs that the user can configure to their liking to achieve the best aesthetics. On the characteristics side, these modules support XMP 2.0 profiles, and can operate at a frequency of 3200 MHz with times of 16-18-18-38 and a voltage of 1.35v.
Although the company does not specify which brand of DRAM chips it is using, it is compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms. For now, the sale price has not been announced, so we do not know to what extent the presence of the two fake modules made the product more expensive to the point of making it uninteresting in the eyes of users with a tighter economy.
How about Gigabyte's decision to remove the fake modules to lower the cost?
