Gigabyte has just announced the addition to its catalog of the new Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 6 motherboard designed to work in the best possible way with Intel Skylake microprocessors.

The Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 6 is built with an ATX form factor and contains an LGA 1151 socket and a Z170 chipset to support Intel's Skylake microarchitecture. A powerful 11 phase power VRM is responsible for supplying the power and stability needed to run the CPU and achieve high levels of overclocking. The VRM is cooled by a large heatsink that extends into the I / O area. As for memory, we find four DDR4 DIMM slots.

The Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 6 will allow us to build a system with great graphics power thanks to its two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 and one PCI-Express 3.0 x4 slots. Along with this we come across four PCI-Express 3.0 x1 slots for various expansion cards.

As for storage, it has ample options with a pair of M.2 32 Gb / s slots, three SATA Express 16 Gb / s ports and six SATA III 6 Gb / s ports.
