Google has been introducing dark mode in many of its applications in the past few months. New applications are expected to continue in the coming months. One of them could be Google Assistant. Since it has been seen in a beta of the Google app that the company would already be working in this mode for the assistant app.

It is expected that in 2019 there will be new applications from the firm that will obtain this mode. One of them is Chrome and even Android could have a native version, in its next version.

Dark mode for Google Assistant

So far few details about this dark mode have been leaked in Google Assistant. It would be the same as the rest of the firm's applications in this regard. From the settings of the app itself, the interface could be modified so that it appears in a completely dark tone. Especially on OLED screens it may be of interest, given the energy savings it entails.

What is clear is that the company is strongly committed to this mode. Most of their applications already have it (Google Maps, contacts, messages, etc). In addition, those that are missing will be incorporated in 2019. Other apps on Android also use it now.

At the moment we do not have dates for the introduction of this dark mode in Google Assistant. It should happen in the coming months, but the firm has not said anything, so we have no data on its dates. We hope to know something about it soon.
