During the month of September, the popular camera manufacturer GoPro launched its own line of 'Karma' drones on the market, specially designed to hold a GoPro camera and make great aerial shots.

GoPro had sold 2, 500 units of these drones

What seemed like a device doomed to success, today faces some drawbacks that force the company to request the return of all these drones. The problem arises from the complaints of several buyers, who warn that the drone suffers from energy losses in mid-flight. This is potentially dangerous and can also damage the expensive camera that is equipped.

GoPro will take care of the return of the more than 2, 500 drones that it has sold since last October 23, the date on which they were officially put on sale. The 'Karma' drones that are going to return to GoPro are not going to be replaced by others and the company is going to return the money to the buyers, about 869 euros which is what the drone costs only and 1, 199 euros with the GoPro 5 camera included.

The Karma Drone had incredible features for taking aerial shots that would otherwise be impossible. The device was capable of flying at a maximum speed of 56Km / h with a maximum operating distance of 1000 meters around our command and 4500 meters high.

CEO Nick Woodman has commented that they are working with the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission and the Federal Aviation Administration to complete this return process.
