Gtx 980 with aio liquid cooling

Anonim

It seems that with the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 has started to create a trend towards liquid cooling of the most powerful graphics cards with reference design, the well-known Vesuvius has been joined by rumors about the future water-cooled Radeon R9 390X and now Nvidia gets on the car.

Asetek has leaked an image of a GeForce GTX 980 cooled by an AIO system created by the brand itself (specifically the Asetek 740GN) being a solution apparently similar to the system used in the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 (with the obvious difference that in this case only cool a GPU). This card will have its core cooled by the Asetek system and the VRMs, the VRAM chips and the rest of the components are cooled by the Nvidia reference heatsink.

A striking fact is that a Noctua fan is used next to the radiator, which makes us think of a possible association between Asetek and the Austrian firm.
