Hd60 s + is the new elgato grabber with 4k / hdr capability
Table of contents:
Elgato HD60 S + is a new video capture with which we can record videos without too much inconvenience at 1080 and 60 fps with HDR and even 4K video at 60 fps.
Elgato HD60 S + enables 4K60 HDR recording
The HD60 S + grabber also supports 4K60 HDR pass-through, which means that video capture will not limit the resolution that can be output on TV or monitor.
Thanks to its external USB 3.0 configuration, the HD60 S + is compatible with Windows and MacOS operating systems, with support for XSplit, OBS and Elgato's own game capture tools. The device comes with a USB Type-C output for power and PC connectivity, plus HDMI input and output.
This new model represents a major upgrade for video game streamers who are already thinking about capturing 4K video or streaming in 1080p and 60fps, where most of the work is done by the HD60 S +.

Elgato promises that this USB grabber has no delay and also has some other cool features. For example, a Flashback Recording function is listed in which we can go back in time to capture video and record retroactively. HDR10 is also enabled and Elgato notes that the audio tracks for voice recording are added on separate tracks. This is very useful to make corrections in the recordings that are commented by us, adjust the volume or clean the background noise, etc., without affecting the original game track or whatever we are capturing.
Elgato HD60 S + is currently available from the official website for around 199.99 euros.
