Honor V9 is one of the terminals that we were going to see at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona but Huawei has gone ahead, and from China, it makes the official presentation of this Smartphone with really impressive specifications.

Compared to the Honor 8, the Honor V9 increases the screen size to 5.7 inches, which can already be considered a full-blown phablet.

Honor V9: Specifications

Huawei's huge Smartphone (or phablet) has a 5.7-inch screen with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The main camera will again be dual 12 megapixels with 2.2 focal aperture, as in the Honor 8, and an 8 megapixel front camera. The phone case will be made entirely of aluminum and will be only 6.97 millimeters thick.

Inside the Honor V9 we find a powerful Kirin 960 processor, which is the same one used by the Huawei Mate 9, with 8 processing cores (4 × 2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4 × 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53). The memory will be 4 or 6GB of RAM and the storage capacity will vary between 64 and 128GB, which can be expanded.

The battery for its part is going to be 3900 mAh non-removable, which should be enough to power this beast for several hours. Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0 custom interface is Huawei's commitment to the software of this terminal.

Price and availability

Huawei Honor V9 will debut on February 28 in Chinese stores at an approximate price of 350 euros for the version with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, 412 euros for the 6GB and 64GB storage and 480 euros for the top model of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
