HP is updating its popular revamped Specter x360 convertible notebooks today. Both the 13-inch and 15-inch versions are getting a new "gem cut" design with a more angular look.

Specter x360 13-inch has a quad-core CPU and 22.5 hours of autonomy

Along with its new design, it also includes an angled USB-C port on the edge of the Specter x360 to improve cable management. Unsurprisingly, HP includes the latest eighth-generation Intel quad-core processors in the 13-inch Specter x360, and six-core options for the larger 15-inch model.

The great promise of the new 13-inch 'x360' is "the world's longest battery life in a quad-core convertible. " That's a claim, and HP promises a battery life of up to 22.5 hours on this model. This is something that will have to be fully tested, but even if half of that is achieved, the life of the battery will be one of its strongest points.

Inside we find up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of SSD (NVMe M.2) storage, and even optional LTE support with Intel's eSIM design.

13 and 15 inch models will be available in November

For the 13-inch model we can choose between an FHD panel or a 4K screen, although if we choose the latter, the battery life will be less.

The 15-inch model is truly designed for photographers, developers, illustrators, and others who need better CPU and GPU performance. HP has changed AMD's Vega M graphics to Nvidia's. We can choose between the latest Intel quad-core processors with an Nvidia GeForce MX 150, or the eighth-generation Intel processors with a GTX 1050Ti (Max Q). Inside the 15-inch model there are also up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch HP Specter x360 will be available in November. The 13-inch model will start at $ 1, 149, and the 15-inch version will be priced at $ 1, 389. Both devices will be available in HP online stores or in Best Buy stores in the United States.
