Hp microserver gen8 now available its new firmware ilo4 v2.10
HP has released new firmware for its servers and microserver with iLO4 web management interface version v2.10. The owners who have the HP Microserver Proliant G8 can use it to update it since it fixes some problems and improvements that have been detected during these months.
For example, the iLO web interface crash after 40 or more days of activity, avoiding multiple SNMP traps , incorrect information in the network log with similar MAC addresses , the power sensors do not appear in the temperature graph and a long etc…
In order to quickly update the firmware of your server you must perform the following steps:
- Download iLO4 firmware v2.10 and unzip the.exe file and go to our own iLO website in the firmware update menu. Find the file ilo4_210.bin and click on “upload2.
Locate the file ilo4_210.bin
Select the file and click upload.
- It will upload the file, upon verification, and will end up flashing the firmware to this new version. This process can take several minutes.
Flashing the latest firmware.
Once completed it will kick us out of the web interface and we can log in with administrator access to this latest version and completed process.
