HP has just announced its new ultrabook called HP Specter 13, which is 10mm thick, something that makes the Apple MacBook Air and Dell XPS ridiculous. The most surprising thing is not the "finesse" of this new HP ultrabook but the configuration that it has inside that tiny case. While other ultra-thin ultrabooks use a classic Intel Core M processor, the HP Specter 13 breaks all the molds and uses the Intel Core i5 or i7 processors depending on the chosen configuration.

HP Specter 13: 10mm thick and Intel Core i7 processor

Getting into the HP Specter 13 in more detail, we have to talk about a 13-inch Full-HD screen without "touch-screen". Internally it comes with an i5 or i7 processor depending on the model chosen and our budget, about 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage memory in the ultrabook's basic configuration, which can be expanded to 512GB for the second model.

As for autonomy, a very important issue, this will offer about 9 hours of uninterrupted use, in this aspect the MacBook Air that lasts up to 12 hours is better, although it is not as fine as the HP Specter 13 and its 1, 1 kilograms of weight.

As is usual in the new ultrabooks that are coming onto the market, the HP Specter 13 will also use 3 USB Type-C connectors and two of them will have Thunderbolt support, which ensures a data transfer speed from the HP Specter 13 quite Awesome.

The pre-sale of this new ultrabook will begin on April 25 in the United States at a price of $ 1, 169 for the most basic configuration, up to $ 1, 249 for the model with i7 processor .
