Huawei has announced two new network devices, the Huawei AX3 and Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2, adding support for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connections.

Huawei AX3 and 5G CPE Pro 2 are announced

Huawei AX3 is the company's latest Wi-Fi 6 router. It has data transfer speeds of up to 3000 Mbps and a bandwidth of 160MHz. It also supports older Wi-Fi standards.

Wi-Fi 6 itself is a fairly new technology, and very few devices support it at the moment. What's more, it also offers better wall penetration when used in conjunction with eligible Huawei devices like the upcoming P40 Pro and more.

The Huawei AX3 is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-core Gigahome CPU and runs on the company's Harmony operating system. The router can also connect to some mobile devices through NFC, eliminating the need to enter a password.

Data can be sent simultaneously to a maximum of 4 devices in the 2.4 GHz band and 16 devices in the 5 GHz band. In total, it can support up to 128 devices combined.

Along with the router, Huawei also launched the successor to its 5G hotspot called Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2.

The Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 has the latest Huawei 7nm Balong 5000 chipset. Both 5G NSA and 5G SA networks are supported. The chipset offers 200MHz bandwidth and carrier aggregation technology, resulting in download speeds of up to 3.6 GBPS.

Like the Huawei AX3, the 5G CPE Pro 2 we can connect up to 128 devices. It also allows you to establish a Mesh network, which offers seamless Wi-Fi throughout the home. Once a Mesh network is established, a connected device will automatically switch to the strongest signal in the system.

Lastly, the 5G CPE Pro 2 also features quiet cooling fans that can automatically adjust operating speeds to stabilize its operating temperature. Nothing is known yet about its price and availability. We will keep you informed
