Huawei is showing ads on the lock screen

Problems for many users with a Huawei phone. Since on your mobile, ads are displayed on the lock screen. It is something that is happening worldwide, although in all cases advertisements are shown by Booking, the hotel reservation platform. The models affected so far by this failure are the P20, P20 Pro, P20 Lite, P30, P30 Pro and the Honor 10.

Ads on the lock screen

At the moment it is not well known how this could have happened. It seems clear that this is a failure, since many doubt that Huawei has suddenly decided to introduce ads on their phones. Although so far the Chinese manufacturer has not reacted to this situation. While hopefully they are aware of these issues on phones.

In social networks we can see that the number of affected users is large, in addition to more and more complaints being published in this regard. It is probably some test that has been applied wrongly on the phones or a simple failure.

But we hope to have some response from Huawei shortly. Since although it is not something that affects the operation of the phone, for users it is strange. We will be attentive to statements by the company in this regard.
