As usual, Apple dominates this segment with its iPads, which have more than a quarter of the market. Until now, Samsung was always the second best-selling brand, until this quarter. They have been overtaken by Huawei.

Huawei the brand in Android that sells the most tablets

In this first quarter of the year they have managed to conquer the second position in the market. Until now, the Chinese brand was the fourth best-selling in this market segment.

Samsung falls in sales

Samsung has lost ground in this market segment. Surprising, because the Korean brand is one of the few brands on Android that have presented tablets in these first months of the year. But consumers have opted for Huawei in this regard, which thus becomes the best-selling brand on Android.

Apple continues to dominate the market, in addition to leaving us with new iPads this year. So surely we will see how their sales increase in the coming months. Microsoft has also risen in sales and finally enters the Top 5 with its Surface.

It will be interesting to see how sales of tablets evolve throughout this year. Since Samsung should be the best-selling brand on Android, but they lose ground to Huawei. The question is whether it is permanent or only in this first trimester.
