Chinese phone maker Huawei has just announced the list of phones to be upgraded to the Android 7.0 operating system, or also known as Android N, including the Huawei P9.

Android 7.0 was officially launched during the month of August and little by little the different phones that had Android 6.0 have been updated. In the case of Huawei, there will be 6 phones that will receive the expected update to Android 7.0 at the beginning of next year.

As usual, Android 7.0 on Huawei devices will have the customization of EMUI 5.0, the proprietary user interface that Huawei applies to its phones to give it a unique look. This would be one of the reasons why Android 7.0 took so long to appear on these smartphones.

Huawei ensures that the update in these terminals will be available from the first quarter of 2017. The Chinese manufacturer does not rule out that other phones are added to today's list, so it is possible that the Huawei P8 and Huawei P8 Lite also get Android 7.0. Due to the technical characteristics of the last two terminals, we see no impediment to that not happening, except for a 'sinister' move by Huawei forcing the owners of these phones to buy the latest models of the brand.
