Today from Professional Review we analyze one of the products that are giving the most talk lately, it is the Hubsan x4 107C, a small drone the size of a hand that will delight both the smallest and the oldest. This drone can be found in different versions, which are differentiated by the last letter:

• 107L - This version is the most basic and the cheapest, it has no camera and the motors are less powerful. 107C - This version that we are going to analyze, has a small camera of 0.3Mpx or 2Mpx depending on the model and more powerful engines. 107D - It could be said that it is the top-of-the-range version of this quadcopter, in addition to the camera it has a video transmitter to be able to see it in third person from the station.

In our case we have chosen the 107C version with a 0.3Mpx camera since, in our opinion and as we will see later, it is the version with the best relation between performance and price.

Hubsan x4 107C

Hubsan presents us with a correct packaging in which we can only see the typical representation of the product but without much more technical data except the name and the video recording.

Inside the box we find the drone itself, which includes the battery in its compartment, a usb charger that we must connect to a computer or the typical mobile charger, a set of spare propellers and a tool to facilitate the removal of the propellers as well as a guide and an instruction manual in English. Also in our case the distributor has included a propeller protector, which is highly recommended.

These versions are RTF, that is, "Ready to fly", so we already have everything necessary to be able to fly. We only need 3 AAA batteries for the station.

Before the first use, it is recommended to calibrate the accelerometers of our quadcopter as well as its transmitter, for this we must follow the instructions of a small brochure that is included with the manual, but on YouTube you can find many videos where they are perfectly explained.

If it is our first drone, the use of the propeller protector is recommended, shocks will be common the first times, but do not worry, the drone holds them very well and is difficult to break, it is not the case of the propellers that are the element that will suffer the most but nothing worrying because they can be found from one euro.

The hubsan station has two modes, a normal and an expert mode. In expert mode the controls are more sensitive and we can loop and more acrobatic flight but at first it is very difficult to manage if we have never flown with one, if that is your case it is better to use the normal mode and also adjust the trim more low so that the sensitivity is even less and does not respond so abruptly to our controls.

The camera in both the 0.3Mpx and 2Mpx versions is nothing to write home about, so don't expect great things, but the good thing is that these versions, unlike the Hubsan 107L, have more powerful motors and a larger battery compartment., which translates into more agile and faster movements as well as being able to use 5oo mAh batteries that are heavier. In order to record video we need a MicroSD and its use is very simple, we press a button to start recording and another to stop recording. It is important to remember that we must stop the recording before disconnecting the battery, if we don't we will lose the recording.

The flight is very stable and precise, it surprises the stability and precision of such a small device as well as its power more than enough to fly outdoors and be able to perform fast and acrobatic flights if we wanted. Autonomy is not its strong point but it is not far from the options we have, it is highly recommended to buy several 500 mAh batteries to enjoy it.
