ID-Cooling is launching a new heatsink with fully RGB lighting. This is the SE-234-ARGB, a 120mm tower format model with RGB fan and RGB top cover.

With a completely black construction, except the mounting kit, the product is finally quite sober, if we decide not to use RGB lighting. Otherwise, this can look very eye-catching on any tempered glass side construction.
The radiator is built around four 6mm heat pipes whose finish is not mentioned. Without any information, we can assume that the base is not in direct contact.
The height of the set is contained, 154mm, while the off-center base allows not to block the first memory slot. The fan is simply attached with metal claws, unfortunately gray in color. Its rotational speed varies from 900RPM to 2000RPM for an airflow of 56.5CFM, which seems relatively high at full speed.
The SE-234-ARGB is designed to cool those processors with a TDP less than 200 W. With a dimension of 126x88x154mm, this cooler is basically compatible with all normal ATX boxes.

In metal, the mounting kit is compatible with LGA 115x and 20xx sockets as well as AMD from AMD. The suggested retail price for SE-234-ARGB is around 40USD / 37 euros (without VAT).
