The assembler EVGA has shown images of its new graphics card GeForce GTX 980 Classified Kingpin Edition based on the new ACX 2.0 heatsink and with components of the highest quality.
The GeForce GTX 980 Classified Kingpin Edition is built with a custom PCB with a powerful 10-phase VRM power supply that takes power via two 8-pin connectors and a third 6-pin connector, with this configuration it is set to reach very high levels of overclock. It is also equipped with a defrost system to protect the PCB from freezing when using liquid nitrogen cooling.
