The prestigious firm MSI is working on three new motherboards belonging to the Gaming M series with LGA 1151 socket to receive the Skylake processors that are just around the corner.

The three new motherboards are the Z170A Gaming M5, the Z170A Gaming M7, and the Z170A Gaming M9 ACK. It is important to clarify that in this case the "M" does not indicate a MATX format as it happened in previous generations, instead it allows the user to identify the motherboard as a model of the MSI Gaming series.

The Z170A Gaming M5 offers the ability to install up to two graphics cards, a 10-phase VRM, ten SATA ports including two SATA-Express, two M.2 slots, AudioBoost III, and Killer E2205 GbE network.

For its part, the Z170A Gaming M7 improves the characteristics of the previous model with a VRM of 14 phases, better audio and the possibility of overclocking the CPU and memory through the "Game Boost" function.

Finally, the Z170A Gaming M9 ACK leads the trio of motherboards with a Backplate, VRM sink prepared for liquid cooling, Killer ACK WLAN network and USB 3.1 type A and type C.
