The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 iChill X4 Ultra is built with a custom PCB with higher quality components than the reference model to achieve higher GPU performance. Your VRM is powered by an 8-pin connector and a 6-pin connector in order to achieve higher overclocking levels than in the reference model, limited to a single 8-pin connector.

To keep the temperature under control, it has the HerculeZ heatsink and an aluminum plate that is responsible for helping the cooling of the components located on the front of the PCB such as the VRM and the GDDR5X memories. The heatsink is made up of a dense aluminum fin radiator crossed by several copper heatpipes that absorb the heat from the GPU and distribute it over the entire radiator surface. The faceplate also has two additional heatpipes to further improve cooling. The heatsink of the Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 iChill X4 Ultra is completed by three 92mm fans with 15 blades each that promise to generate a large airflow with low noise.
