Videos are gaining presence on platforms such as Instagram. The social network is very committed to this type of format, as we have also seen with the creation of IGTV. For this reason, they now introduce a series of improvements in this regard, to favor the reproduction of videos. It is going to allow moving forward or backward in them, thanks to a temporary bar.

Instagram will allow you to go back or forward in videos

The application is already doing the first tests with this function, as you can see in this video below. Thanks to it we get an idea about its operation.

Improvements to videos on Instagram

Without a doubt, it is a function that users on Instagram looked forward to. Since videos are gaining much importance on the social network, but until now there was no good way to play them comfortably. Since it is possible that there are parts in a video that interest, or others that you want to skip. So this time bar is going to be a major change.

At the moment we only know that tests with this function are already underway. But we do not have information about the date on which it would reach the app officially. Also, there seems to be no option to pause the video, at least for now.

We will be attentive to the date of this change on Instagram. Since given the increasing presence of the videos, it is something to be expected. If the first tests are underway, it should arrive in a few months. Although we do not have an approximate date for it.
