Installing additional languages in Windows 10 and switching between them is very easy thanks to the new configuration application that has been released in this new version of the most widely used desktop operating system at home.
First of all we go to the Windows 10 configuration menu that we can access from the beginning. Once in the configuration menu we go to " Time and language " - " Region and language " and finally enter the option " Languages "
From there we can firstly access the menu to search for the new languages that we want to add to our Windows 10. Click on “ Add a language ” and a list of all the languages available for Windows 10 will open, where we can select all the languages that we interest in.
On this occasion I have added the languages "Català" and "German". Click on the language that interests us and access the different options available among which are "Set as default", "Options" and "Remove"
We enter " options " and as we will see below, all languages do not offer all the features available in Windows 10, for example, voice recognition that is not available in Catalan but is in German. From here we can download and install the different features that languages offer us.
To activate voice recognition in the new language we have to go to the " Time and language " section and enter " Voice ". From here we can select the language that interests us for voice recognition and enable the recognition of non-native accents.
Once downloaded the features that interest us the language we are looking for, all we have to do is click on " Set as default " and after closing and opening the session again we will see a new language showing on our desktop.
