Although they have also confirmed that in some way they will remain linked to 5G, since they will continue to make investments in this regard. But they have not specifically stated what plans they have in this regard.

Intel has announced this after Apple and Qualcomm have confirmed that they are reaching an agreement, whereby the Cupertino firm agrees to use Qualcomm's 5G modems starting in 2020.
