Intel solves skylake problems in extreme tests
The sixth generation of Intel Core microprocessors, better known as " Skylake " present a problem that makes them lose stability under the most demanding tests such as Prime95, widely used by overclocking fans to check the stability of their system.
Intel claims to have found the problem and that it has already released a solution with the motherboard manufacturers, as the latter will be responsible for making it available to users through a BIOS update:
Intel has identified a problem that affects the sixth generation of Intel Core processors. A problem that only occurs under very extreme load situations like the one that occurs in tests like Prime 95. In these cases the processor may become unstable and the system may show unexpected behaviors. Intel has identified the problem and released a solution that it works with motherboard manufacturers to include in BIOS updates.
